Sholom Lipskar
Each one of us is an emissary of God [created] to fulfill a unique purpose of creation. We each have a fundamental, monumental mission that is incredible and that touches on the core of our being, and that gives us the single most important reason for existence, and which gives us passion for existence.

To Be Complete or Simple?
One in a series of talks on the parsha of the week, this lecture addresses the parsha shoftim, read during the first week of the month of Elul when Jews begin the period of reflection and repentance leading up Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur. Here, Lipskar delves into issues such as the simple acceptance of God and being complete with His plan for us, the special place Jews hold in the world, how to change our own behavior, and how to get the most out of life.

Incarceration as a Modality of Punishment and Rehabilitation, The Shul website, 2010
In this text, Lipskar discusses references to imprisonment in Jewish liturgy, posits a Torah-based philosophical rationale as to why the Torah does not advocate prison, and, recognizing that we now live in a society that increasingly appears to demand “tougher” sentences, offers suggestions consistent with the Torah rationale for prison programs that should reduce recidivism and improve chances for rehabilitation.
