Contemporary Jewish Museum, San Francisco
In 1998, the Contemporary Jewish Museum selected Libeskind to design its new home. Unveiled in 2005, Daniel Libeskind's design for the new museum, his first commissioned project in North America, reflects the museum's mission to celebrate Jewish culture, history, art, and ideas.

Jewish Museum Berlin
In 1989 Libeskind won the Berlin Museum’s architecture competition for the design of the Jewish museum. His plan, which includes a Garden of Exile, Glass Courtyard, and Holocaust Tower, was realized when the museum opened on September 9, 2001 – today it is one of Germany’s most visited sites.
